SCIENCE FAIR COMING UP
The science fair will be on January 29. Projects are due January 28. The Saturday Boot Camp is on January 24 from 10 a. m. – 2 p. m. We are going to have a great turnout. If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Lisa Boone at @ 796-6752 or lboone@grandecom.net. We are looking for a few more Spanish-speaking mentors to help. Your time and help is greatly appreciated.
CALLING ALL SCIENCE FAIR JUDGES
Do you have a background in science or do you just love the subject? We are still looking for a few good men and women to help judge the fair. You would need to be at the school Thursday, January 29, from 8 a. m. until around 1 p. m. Coffee and homemade baked goods will be provided and your time would be very appreciated by the PTA, Brentwood Elementary and, most of all, the students participating. To help, please contact Lisa Boone @ 796-6752 or
lboone@grandecom.net.
SCIENCE FAIR NIGHT
Come see all the informative and creative science projects that Brentwood students entered in the Science Fair, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, January 29, in the gym. At 6:30 p.m., join the PTA in the cafeteria for a pizza dinner ($6 per family) and announcements.
LIGHT BRIGHT
Used incandescent lightbulbs are needed for a project by kindergarten and 1st grade students. They will be creating papier-mache maracas in ART class, to be used in MUSIC class. Please donate lightbulbs in the bin by the front door, with the other recycle bins. We need about 250!
Thanks, Ms. Anderson & Ms. Henderson
